First Time Visiting New Banklick Baptist Church?
We are so glad you're considering joining us! Whether you've attended church your whole life or never stepped foot in one, you are welcome here. Visiting a new church can be intimidating--but we want you to feel right at home from the moment you arrive.
What to Expect
A Friendly Welcome: From the parking lot to the front door, you'll be greeted by people who are genuinely glad you are here. Whether you come alone or with your family, you'll be welcomed like one of our own.
A Comfortable Atmosphere: You'll find a relaxed, come-as-you-are environment. Some dress up, some dress casual--either way, you'll fit right in.
Meaningful Worship: Our services include a time of worship through music and singing, focusing on honoring God and preparing our hearts to hear His Word. Currently we alternate Sundays between our contemporary Praise Band and our Praise Team who sing hymns accompanied by piano.
Biblical Teaching: You'll hear clear, practical preaching straight from the Bible that applies to everyday life and helps you grow in your faith.
Kids' Options: During the worship service, we have nursery available for children 3 and under. Before the sermon begins, children through 5th grade are dismissed to Children's church. Of course, children are welcome to stay in service with their parents if that is your preference.
Arrival & Parking: Feel free to park in any available spot in our main lot. For easiest access to the sanctuary, you may use the double doors facing Banklick Road, or the side entrance near the lop top of the parking lot.
Shelter Events: If you are visiting us for an event under the shelter, feel free to park in the grass at the top of the hill unless it is roped off.
