All About NBBC
To know Christ, and make Him known.
At New Banklick Baptist Church, you'll find a welcoming church family, biblical teaching, and a place to grow in your relationship with Jesus. Whether you've been in church your whole life or you're just starting to explore faith, you are invited to come as you are and discover the hope found in Christ.
We are a Southern Baptist church, cooperating with the Northern Kentucky Baptist Association, and the Kentucky Baptist Convention, while still remaining an autonomous local body of believers.
Our Beliefs
Salvation
We believe all people are sinners by nature, but that God, in His grace, offers salvation to all who call upon Him. Through Jesus, lives can be changed, restored, and given true purpose.
Scripture
The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. It is the foundation for everything we do.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son & Holy Spirit--the Creator and Sustainer of all things.
Jesus
We believe in Jesus Christ--His diety, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His death on the cross for our sins, His resurrection, and His promised return. He is the only way to salvation and a restored relationship with God.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit lives within every believer, guiding strengthening, and equipping them for daily life and spiritual growth.
Purpose
Our purpose is to glorify God through worship and service. We strive to create a welcoming place where people can encounter God, grow in their faith, and build meaningful relationships.
